Internet

The antenna is the property of IB-RED. Renting and maintaining it is included in the monthly quota of each client. If you no longer want to receive service, a date must be scheduled to pick up the antenna.

Not at all, all our Internet products have a flat rate. There is no download limit. You can use the connection as much as you like without reducing the speed or increasing your bill, not like what happens with mobile connections or satellite internet.
For an optimum use of your internet connection, we recommend a maximum of 7 devices connected at the same time.

With our holiday plan, you choose when you start to enjoy your internet connection. You choose on what date you want to start and, therefore, on what date your 6 months of connection ends. To connect, disconnect or reconnect your holiday connection, call 971 53 08 09, always letting us know 2 days in advance.

Community Internet
This is a joint installation that makes it more cost-effective, but every neighbour has a router and an individual line.
The basic rate starts at a download speed of 4 Megas. However, the download and upload speed depends on the geographical location of the community and their bandwidth needs. There is no download limit, and the speed is not reduced after downloading a maximum amount of data.

The IB-RED network is meant to and capable of discriminating between the transfer of traffic. In order to ensure an equal distribution of bandwidth, a queuing tree is made according to the types of traffic with maximums and minimums guaranteed.

Fibre optic
No. Fibre Optics is not subject to any contract or continuity period.
Fibre Optic offers symmetric connections with the same number of upload and download capacity. For example, when contracting the 600 Megas package you will get 600 Megas for uploading and 600 for downloading.

The WiFi router is free and is included in any of the Llubí Fibre Optic.
We recommend 100 Megas for regular Internet users and videogame fans.
If you wish to download digital content faster or you don’t want any issues when streaming videos or films, 600 Megas is for you.
The 1000 Megas symmetrical connection is for more demanding users, large families and SmartTV users. Get the most out of your Internet connection with this rate.



Fibra óptica indirecta
Indirect fibre is the fibre that telecommunications companies offer in specific locations where we do not yet have our own fibre deployed.
This indirect fibre comes from a wholesaler. The agreement with the fibre wholesaler allows us to manage our dealings with customers, so we maintain the proximity we offer at ib-red because we are a 100% local company.
This way we can continue to "treat you well": direct contact, dedicated attention, a 971 contact telephone number, you talk to residents in the Balearic Islands, no bureaucracy, clear prices...
ib-red's own fibre optic is increasingly available in more and more towns and cities, but we offer fibre from another wholesaler where we have not yet deployed our own fibre.
Indirect fibre has two options:
- Without permanence with registration and installation of 100€ (vat included)
- With a 12-month permanence without registration and installation, i.e. €0 (FREE)
It is not possible to have a landline with indirect fibre optic, so it does not include calls. However, you can contract some of our mobile tariffs.
The router is included, it is free of charge. At the end of the contract it must be returned.
With indirect fibre it is not possible to contract Static IP.
It will depend on the technical feasibility of each domicile.
El trato es directamente con ib-red. Si tienes cualquier consulta debes contactar via telefónica, presencia o email con nuestro servicio de atención al cliente. Esto facilita todos los tramites ya que damos un trato de proximidad con nuestro plan de bientratar (ver plan debientratar).
Nuestro producto no tiene límite de descarga. Como cliente puedes hacer uso de la conexión tanto como desees sin que se reduzca la velocidad, ni se incremente la factura.

Atención al cliente
You can sign up at IB-RED by calling us at 971 53 08 03 or by sending us an email at info@ibred.es indicating your name, telephone number and address. You can also use the form that you will find on the Contact page. Once your coverage has been checked, you choose the product that best suits your needs.
In a few days, you will receive a call from our technical coordinator to establish the day and time of installation. Once the antenna is installed, you must fill out the client contract and from that moment on, you’ll be a IB-RED client.
On the Coverage page, you’ll find a map where you can select the exact place where your address is located. Fill out the form with your data and we will analyse what the best connectivity option is for your dwelling.

You have 5 working days before we issue the first invoice. If you see that your connection is not working properly, please contact us and we will solve the problem. This way you can check that everything is working correctly before we charge the first invoice.
As a general rule, instalments are not allowed. If the client requests it, the administration department must give it the go-ahead.
Sign up + Installation and additional devices, if needed, will be billed between 3 and 10 days after installation.
Monthly payments are charged to the month due on the first day of each month. The first instalment will be proportional to the days since the service was contracted.
For example, if the service is requested on August 12 and the installation takes place on the 17th, the amount of the Sign up + Installation will be invoiced between the 22nd and 27th, and on September 1st you will pay the first monthly payment (the amount corresponding to the 16 days used).. This is all via automatic bank transfer. Starting from that moment, you will be charged on day 1 of every month in the monthly quota corresponding to the previous month.
In order to cancell our services please send an email to bajas@ibred.es with the photo of your DNI, NIE or passport and your complete name, disconnection date and the reason of the cancellation.


Technical Support
If you are without internet access, disconnect the POE for 10 seconds and then reconnect it to the electrical current.

The maximum amount of time to resolve problems is 48 hours although the majority of them are resolved in less than 24 hours.

Thanks to the IB-RED ping, the low latency period of around 30ms, our connection is ideal for holding videoconferences fluidly and without cuts.
